Christian Colombier actively participated in the launch of the Korea-Japan economic mission, scheduled for September 2022, during a meeting held in Lyon at the premises of the Regional Economic Council, on Thursday June 30, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organized by the Auvergne Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes Region, in partnership with TEAM France Export and the EEN network, this mission is intended to provide better knowledge of the economy of the two countries and to promote contacts between companies in the region and local partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This mission also aims to offer certain companies a gateway to Asia where culture and tradition are an integral part of business relations.

This privileged time for discussion between speakers heavily involved in business relations with Korea and Japan and the companies invited also made it possible to discuss the objectives of each company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his capacity as Foreign Trade Advisor for France and representative of the Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes Committee on the Board of Directors of the Asia Commission of the CNCCEF, he was able to bear witness to the cultural differences in the conduct of negotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His role as a lawyer, both for French companies and for Japanese or Korean companies, has also enabled him to explain the more technical and legal aspects of contractual practice, which are essential for establishing lasting relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
